Free Diving with Sharks at the North Shore in Oahu, Hawaii

Swimming with sharks

While at the North Shore in Oahu, Hawaii, I was able to go free diving with sharks.  No cage, no scuba, just simply a mask  snorkel ans fins...and my GoPro.
Went with One Ocean Diving, and both Ocean and Juan were great.
We went out with the boat for a few miles, and set up to drift with the boat.  Right away, after the first jump in, there were about 17 sandbar sharks.  Will post some photks and videos soon...great experience.

A Gift to Fall For!!

I tried giving this blog a James  Bondish title since it did happen in the Caribbean!!
Skydiving in St. Kitts and Nevis, what could be much better than skydiving over the clear waters of the Caribbean and landing on a gorgeous beach where your wife and 2 year old are waiting for you?
This was my 40th birthday gift...
We went up to 10,000 feet before freefalling for about 40 seconds before the chute opened.  The great thing about this was they let you actually control and guide the whole time until the landing where they help you.
I was pretty stoked about going, but surprisingly not nervous at all.  The biggest rush was when they opended the door to the plane and we sat on the ledge outside before jumping off!!  The strenght of the wind alone almost sucks you out.

Now Tyya thinks I'm Superman or crazy...one of the two.  All I know is when I landed on the beach, she thouht it was really funny!!
